Once you’ve paid for a physical item, the creator packs and posts it themselves. Each creator runs their own shipping queue at their own pace, so when your package ships and how long it takes to arrive depends on the creator and the carrier — there’s no platform-wide guarantee. This article walks you through what to expect: when items typically ship, how to know yours has gone, where to look for a tracking number, and what to do if something goes wrong on the way.
The buying-side of physical items (finding, sizing, extras, paying) is in Ordering physical items. The setup-side (what your order looks like to the creator) is in Fulfilling physical orders — that one is creator-only, but useful background if you’re curious how the other side works.
1. When does my order ship?
Each creator runs their own shipping schedule. Most ship within a few days; some ship the same day; a few ship weekly when they have a batch ready. The platform doesn’t enforce a turnaround — it’s between you and the creator.
If a creator listed a typical turnaround on their storefront or in the item description, that’s your best estimate. Otherwise, expect 2–7 business days from order to post. International packages then add carrier transit time on top of that.
Some creators set a specific Delivery window per country in their shipping settings (a phrase like “3–5 days” or “10–21 days” on the listing). That’s their best estimate of door-to-door time for that country. It’s not a promise — it’s the creator’s expectation based on past experience.
2. How do I know my order has shipped?

Two signals:
- The order status flips to Completed. Right after you paid, the order sat in Processing in My Account → Orders. When the creator marks it as shipped, the platform automatically moves the order to Completed. You can refresh that page any time to check.
- You get a “your order is complete” email. The platform sends a confirmation email at the same status flip. Look in your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case).
If neither has happened after the typical turnaround for the creator, send them a polite DM asking when they expect to ship. Most creators reply within a day. (See Messaging a creator for how DMs work.)
3. Where’s my tracking number?
Short answer: open the order in My Account → Orders and the tracking number sits next to each item. If the creator has marked the item shipped and saved a carrier link, the number is clickable and opens the carrier’s tracking page in a new tab.
How to find it:
- Sign in and go to My Account → Orders.
- Click into the order you’re tracking. Each line item gets its own block on the order page.
- Underneath the item name and creator, look for the Tracking number row.
- If the creator has shipped, the tracking number appears here. If they also saved a carrier link, the number is a clickable link straight to the carrier’s tracking page (DHL, DPD, Hermes, etc.).
- If the creator hasn’t shipped yet, you’ll see a placeholder: “Tracking number will appear here as soon as the creator ships your parcel.”
Multi-creator orders show one tracking row per item — different creators ship separately, often with different carriers, so you may have several tracking numbers in the same order.
If the placeholder still says “will appear here” after the typical turnaround for that creator (see Section 2), give them a polite nudge via DM. If you don’t hear back within a couple of days, open a support ticket with the order number and we’ll chase the creator on your behalf.
4. Estimated delivery times
Once the package is in the post:
- Domestic (same country as the creator) — typically 1–4 business days. Faster in places with overnight options; slower in remote areas.
- EU / EEA (within Europe) — typically 3–7 business days. Customs is rare for intra-EU packages.
- Worldwide (outside Europe) — typically 7–21 business days. Customs can add a few days at the destination.
If the creator set a Delivery window for your country in their shipping settings, that’s a more accurate estimate than these defaults. Otherwise, give the post 7–10 business days domestic / 14–21 days international before you start to worry.
5. International orders and customs
If you’re ordering from a creator in a different country (especially across the EU/non-EU border), the package may go through customs at the destination. A few things to know:
- Customs and duties are paid by you on arrival, not at checkout. The shipping cost on your order covers postage; it doesn’t include any import taxes or duties your country charges. Those (if any) are billed to you by the carrier when the package lands.
- Inside the EU, customs is rare. Packages between EU member states usually pass through without extra charges or paperwork.
- Outside the EU, expect possible customs. If you’re in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, etc. and ordering from an EU creator (or vice versa), the carrier may hold the package and ask you to pay a small import fee before they release it.
- The creator’s customs declaration covers what they’re shipping. They fill out the carrier’s declaration (item value, contents, etc.). It’s their responsibility to be accurate; ours is only the platform.
If a customs charge feels excessive, it’s between you and the carrier — we can’t reduce or waive it from our end.
6. My order says “Completed” but it hasn’t arrived yet
“Completed” only means the creator has marked it as shipped — not that the package has been delivered. The platform doesn’t track delivery; it just tracks the dispatch event. So the gap between Completed and the package on your doorstep is normal carrier transit time.
Wait the typical delivery window for your country (see §4 above). If the package hasn’t arrived after that:
- Ask the creator for the tracking number (§3) and check the carrier’s status page. Half the time the package is at a depot, with a neighbour, or waiting for a customs payment.
- Check your local post office or pickup point. Many carriers leave a card if they tried to deliver and missed you. The package may already be in your area.
- If tracking shows it as delivered but you didn’t receive it, ask neighbours and check around your building. Then contact the carrier — they usually have a “where’s my package” form that triggers an internal trace.
7. My package is genuinely lost or damaged
If the carrier confirms the package is lost (or it arrives badly damaged):
- Tell the creator first. They have the carrier receipt and may be able to file a claim faster than you. Most creators will then either refund or re-send.
- If the creator can’t or won’t help, open a support ticket from your account and pick the Physical items category. Include the order number, the carrier confirmation that the package is lost, and any photos of damage. We’ll mediate.
For lost-package situations, the standard outcome is a refund (we issue it; the creator’s commission is reversed accordingly). Re-sending is up to the creator — most will if the item is replaceable; one-of-a-kind items can’t be.
8. Returns
Most physical items on Lewdden are not returnable. Adult-content platforms generally can’t accept returns of worn clothing, opened or sealed food items, or anything intimate, and most of our creators state this on their listings.
That said, returns happen case-by-case:
- Wrong item shipped. If the creator sent something different from what you ordered, message them — they’ll usually send the correct item and either ask for the wrong one back at their cost, or just tell you to keep both.
- Item is genuinely defective. Same path: message the creator. Refund or re-send is at their discretion.
- Buyer’s remorse. Most creators won’t accept a return for “I changed my mind”. Check the listing carefully before you order.
If a creator won’t engage on a legitimate problem, support can mediate — open a ticket with the order number and a short summary.
9. If you ordered an extra, here’s what arrives with it
If you ticked one of the extras at checkout, here’s what they actually mean for your delivery:
- Scented — the creator posts the item without washing or extra airing, so the natural scent stays. Most creators wrap the item in a sealed bag inside the mailer to preserve it during transit.
- Worn an extra day — the creator wears the item one more full day before posting. This adds at least a day to your turnaround.
- Personalized signed note — a handwritten note from the creator, included in the package. Some creators write what you ask for if you DM them after ordering; otherwise they pick the wording themselves.
- Custom video clip — a short personal video about the item, sent to you by the creator after the package ships. The creator usually emails or DMs the link; the file isn’t in the package.
If the creator added their own custom extras (gift-wrap, express padded mailer, polaroid add-on, etc.) the description on the PDP tells you what each one gets you. Different creators define their custom extras differently — read the description before ticking.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I pay extra for faster shipping?
There’s no platform-wide express option. Some creators offer faster shipping as one of their custom extras (the equivalent of a “Priority post” add-on at the PDP level); others ship using whichever service they normally use. If speed is critical, message the creator before ordering and ask if they can use express.
Q: Can I have my order shipped to a P.O. box?
Yes, as long as the carrier the creator uses accepts P.O. boxes for that country. Some carriers don’t (especially for international packages); ask the creator if you’re unsure. Discreet billing is more reliable through P.O. boxes anyway.
Q: Will my package look discreet?
Yes. The creator never writes the item name or anything explicit on the outside of the mailer. The return address is whatever the creator chooses (often a P.O. box or a business name) — never their personal name unless they specifically choose to use it. The platform’s name doesn’t appear on the package either.
Q: Why is shipping so much higher than what’s printed on the carrier’s website?
The shipping line at checkout includes the creator’s handling surcharge on top of the postage rate. Handling covers things like the padded mailer, an inner bag, packing time, fuel, and the trip to the post office. Different creators set different handling amounts; some charge none at all. If the difference still feels large, message the creator and ask — they should be able to explain their pricing.
Q: I think the creator overcharged me on shipping. What now?
Open the order, look at the Lewdden Shipping line, and compare it to the rates listed on the creator’s storefront for your country. If the maths doesn’t add up (e.g. they advertise €10 EU shipping but you got charged €25), screenshot the listing + your order and message the creator first. If they don’t resolve it, support can review.
Q: Can I get a refund if the package never arrives?
If tracking confirms it’s lost (or after enough time has passed that the carrier accepts a claim), yes — usually a full refund. Talk to the creator first; most resolve this directly without involving support.
Q: What if the carrier holds my package for a customs payment I didn’t expect?
That’s between you and the carrier — pay the customs fee to get the package, or refuse it and the carrier will eventually return it to the creator (who may or may not refund you, depending on the cost they paid to receive it back). Customs charges aren’t refunded by us or the creator. For peace of mind, look up your country’s de minimis threshold before ordering from a foreign creator — some countries don’t charge customs on small-value items.
Q: Can I track an item that came with the “Custom video clip” extra?
The video itself isn’t a tracked package — it’s a clip the creator emails or DMs you after the physical package ships. If you don’t get the clip within a week of the package being marked Completed, message the creator. If they’re unresponsive, open a support ticket.
Q: My order shows two Lewdden Shipping lines. Is that normal?
That happens if your cart contains items from two different creators. Each creator’s shipping is calculated separately and shows as its own line. The total at the bottom is what you pay; the breakdown is just for transparency.
Need more help?
If your package is overdue and the creator isn’t responding, the order shows the wrong status, or you got a customs charge that doesn’t match what was declared, open a support ticket from your account and pick the Physical items category. Include the order number and the relevant tracking detail and we’ll take a look.
