To switch any other mode you end the current stream, change the setting, and start a new one. Public (free)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Default mode for new creators.<\/strong> Anyone visiting your room watches free. Premium per-minute<\/h2>\n<p>The room is <strong>still openly visible on the browse page<\/strong>, but watching costs tokens per minute. Viewers see a &#8220;Pay to watch&#8221; prompt before the video unmutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How the meter works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You set a <strong>rate per minute<\/strong> (default <strong>10 tokens\/min<\/strong>, configurable in studio Settings \u2192 Pricing).<\/li>\n<li>A viewer entering pays the <strong>first minute upfront<\/strong> (a prepaid minute), then renews automatically every minute they stay connected.<\/li>\n<li>The moment a viewer&#8217;s wallet runs out of tokens, they&#8217;re disconnected \u2014 no surprise charges.<\/li>\n<li>Tips, paid messages, and <span translate=\"no\">Lovense<\/span> reactions all still work on top of the per-minute meter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Setting it before you go live:<\/strong> Free vs Premium is a toggle in studio Settings \u2192 Pricing \u2192 <strong>Public room mode<\/strong>. Pick the one you want, then go live. Ticketed shows<\/h2>\n<p>A <strong>flat-fee entry pass<\/strong> to your live show. You start the ticket show whenever you&#8217;re ready \u2014 viewers who buy a ticket walk in, anyone without one stays on the buy-ticket prompt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During a live session, switch into <strong>Ticketed<\/strong> mode from the room-mode picker. The room is now ticket-gated.<\/li>\n<li>Set the <strong>ticket price<\/strong>, <strong>title<\/strong>, and <strong>description<\/strong> for this show. The default price is <strong>500 tokens<\/strong>, configurable per show.<\/li>\n<li>Viewers in your room see a &#8220;Buy ticket&#8221; CTA \u2014 they buy, they walk in. Anyone who already had a ticket walks in automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Tickets stay on sale while the show is running, so latecomers can still buy in.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s <strong>no minimum or maximum length<\/strong> \u2014 you run the show as long as you want and end it whenever you&#8217;re done.<\/li>\n<li>After the show, the recording is delivered to ticket-holders (if you&#8217;ve enabled <strong>Record tickets<\/strong> in Settings).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A ticket is a <strong>single-use entry pass<\/strong> for that specific show \u2014 one ticket per viewer per show. Pricing is per-minute, paid by the requesting viewer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A viewer hits <strong>Request private<\/strong> on your live room. Their request lands in your <strong>Private requests<\/strong> inbox in the studio.<\/li>\n<li>You see who&#8217;s requesting, decide to <strong>Accept<\/strong> or <strong>Decline<\/strong>, and the show starts.<\/li>\n<li>Pricing: default <strong>24 tokens\/min<\/strong> (configurable in Settings \u2192 Pricing \u2192 Private rate). Exclusive Private (1:1 + cam2cam, no voyeurs)<\/h2>\n<p>Same shape as a regular Private, but <strong>higher rate, fully private<\/strong> (no voyeurs), and <strong>cam2cam<\/strong> is on by default \u2014 meaning you also see the viewer&#8217;s camera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it differs from regular Private:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Default rate <strong>60 tokens\/min<\/strong> (vs 24 for regular Private). Voyeur (peeking on a private show)<\/h2>\n<p>While you&#8217;re in a 1:1 Private show, <strong>other paying viewers can peek<\/strong> at a discounted per-minute rate \u2014 if you&#8217;ve enabled it. They can see and hear the show but <strong>can&#8217;t talk<\/strong>, and the requesting viewer in the private always has their own private chat channel that voyeurs can&#8217;t see.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voyeur access is enabled per private show (or as a default in Settings).<\/li>\n<li>Default voyeur rate <strong>8 tokens\/min<\/strong> (&#8220;Spying \/ min&#8221; in Settings \u2192 Pricing).<\/li>\n<li>Voyeurs are silent: they can&#8217;t send chat messages or tips during the private (tips still work but go through a separate path; chat is read-only).<\/li>\n<li>Voyeurs are NOT allowed in Exclusive Private shows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Choose voyeur-on when:<\/strong> the requesting viewer doesn&#8217;t mind, you want bonus revenue from the rest of the room while a private is going, and the show isn&#8217;t sensitive enough to need full privacy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choose voyeur-off when:<\/strong> the requesting viewer wants the room locked, the show is intimate \/ requested-as-private, or you&#8217;re in Exclusive (where voyeurs are blocked anyway).<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>7. Subscriber pricing (optional discount)<\/h2>\n<p>If you offer a subscription tier on your store, you can give your subscribers <strong>discounted per-minute rates and ticket prices<\/strong>. Configure these in studio Settings \u2192 Pricing \u2192 Subscriber pricing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subscriber private \/ min<\/li>\n<li>Subscriber spying (voyeur) \/ min<\/li>\n<li>Subscriber exclusive \/ min<\/li>\n<li>Subscriber premium \/ min<\/li>\n<li>Subscriber ticket price<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each field has its own override \u2014 leaving a field empty falls back to the public rate. Subscribers don&#8217;t have to do anything; the discount applies automatically once they hit the per-minute meter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choose subscriber discounts when:<\/strong> you&#8217;re trying to push fans toward subscribing, your sub pool is growing, or you want subscribers to have a clear ongoing perk on top of feed and clip access.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>What about voyeur-only public rooms?<\/h2>\n<p>There are also two niche room modes \u2014 <code>voyeur_per_minute<\/code> and <code>voyeur_flat<\/code> \u2014 that are technical artefacts of how private\/voyeur sessions work under the hood. You don&#8217;t pick them yourself; they&#8217;re set automatically when you start a 1:1 with voyeurs allowed. You&#8217;ll never need to touch them directly.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>Recording<\/h2>\n<p>Each show type has its own recording toggle in studio Settings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Record shows<\/strong> \u2014 your public \/ premium streams.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record privates<\/strong> \u2014 your 1:1 private shows.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record tickets<\/strong> \u2014 your ticketed shows. Recording is sent to ticket-holders after the show.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recording is off by default. Turn on whichever you want. See <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.lewdden.com\/help\/every-stream-is-recorded-where-vods-live\/\"><strong>Every stream is recorded \u2014 where your VODs live<\/strong><\/a> for what happens to the recordings afterwards.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>Choosing what to run when<\/h2>\n<p>Rough rule of thumb:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First few weeks live<\/strong> \u2014 Public only. Build a regular audience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Once you have repeat viewers<\/strong> \u2014 switch to Premium per-minute for your scheduled shows; keep Public for warm-ups.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A special show worth a flat-fee entry<\/strong> \u2014 Ticketed (start it from the studio when you&#8217;re ready).<\/li>\n<li><strong>A regular tipper asks for more attention<\/strong> \u2014 accept their Private request.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Someone wants cam2cam or full privacy<\/strong> \u2014 switch them to Exclusive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You don&#8217;t have to commit to one mode forever. Most creators run a Public warm-up \u2192 Premium for the meat of the show \u2192 take a Private request or two before signing off.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>Common questions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: Can I be in a private and someone else&#8217;s show at the same time?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo \u2014 you can only be live in one room at a time, including as a guest in a collab. Privates and exclusives lock you to that single show until it ends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: What happens if a viewer&#8217;s wallet runs out mid-private?<\/strong><br \/>\nThey&#8217;re disconnected. The minimum duration is already paid up front, so they can&#8217;t be cut off in the first few minutes. After that, every minute renews \u2014 when their balance hits zero, the connection drops and they bounce back to your room (or get a &#8220;top up&#8221; prompt).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Can I refuse a private request?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes \u2014 every request is <strong>Accept<\/strong> or <strong>Decline<\/strong> on your side. Declining doesn&#8217;t charge the viewer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Can a viewer change their mind during a private?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes \u2014 either side can end the show at any time after the minimum duration is up. The viewer is charged only for the time they were connected (pro-rated by minute).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: How much do I actually keep per token?<\/strong><br \/>\nYour rev-share rate (set per creator) applies to all token earnings \u2014 tips, per-minute meter, ticket sales, paid messages, the lot. See <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.lewdden.com\/help\/how-payouts-work\/\"><strong>How creator payouts work<\/strong><\/a> for the rev-share details and how tokens convert to euros.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Can I switch between Public and Premium during a single stream?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo \u2014 Public room mode (Free or Premium) is a pre-stream setting that&#8217;s locked once you&#8217;ve started a stream. The in-product hint reads <em>&#8220;Takes effect on your next stream start.&#8221;<\/em> If you want to flip from Free to Premium (or back), end the current stream, change the <strong>Public room mode<\/strong> toggle in studio Settings \u2192 Pricing, and start a new stream. Restarting a stream is the whole switch \u2014 there&#8217;s no separate mid-stream flip on the way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Do tickets keep selling after I&#8217;ve started the ticket show?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes \u2014 viewers can buy a ticket and walk in any time until you end the show. One ticket per viewer per show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Where do I set all these prices?<\/strong><br \/>\nStudio Settings \u2192 Pricing tab. Most creators set them once and never touch them again.
